Job Summary:
Network Engineer L2 - Responsible for ensuring the network is live and running according to defined procedures and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision, install, configure, and maintain servers and network appliances like firewall, routers, and access points.
- Ensure the network is live and running according to the bank's procedures and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of systems like routers, firewalls, managed switches (L2 & L3), and network monitoring tools.
- Support, manage routes, and monitor FAR expiry and renewals for servers, routers, firewalls, managed switches, and access points.
- Conduct research and development to secure the existing network from emerging threats.
Job Description:
- Lead a team to maintain, monitor, and manage both LAN and WAN networks.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams for network route creation and bank approval.
- Train network administrators to handle day-to-day network management tasks.
- Design and implement new networks, set rules and procedures, and develop a disaster recovery plan.
- Lead network infrastructure expansion projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure network and security audits are properly closed and handled.
- Work in shifts and on weekends as required.
Desired Skills:
- Mandatory certifications in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE and/or Firewall.
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and configuring firewalls.
- Experience with LAN/WAN network management and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, Putty, tcpdump.
- Experience with designing and managing network infrastructure and access policies.
- Ability to design a network plan for platforms like UPI.
- Excellent leadership skills for managing the network team and supporting activities.
